Guide to Smiths Leasing

Are you new to leasing, or want to know the process from start to finish? This guide has all the information you need, from choosing your vehicle to the end of your contract. 

Step 1: Choose your plan

You've found your perfect vehicle, great! The next step is to choose your monthly plan. There are three variables that you can tailor to your personal needs: Inital rental, contract length and annual milage.

• The inital rental is your first monthly payment. It is equivalent to a set number of monthly rentals. This is not a deposit, but actually part of your vehicles total lease cost. 
• Next, choose your contract length. You can choose from 24, 36 or 48 months.
• Lastly, input your annual milage. This is the milage you will cover per year. Be aware that you will be charged for any additional milage if you exceed this, this charge is specified in your contract. 

Step 2: Make an enquiry

After you have chosen your ideal plan, you can make an enquiry about the vehicle. Just input your name, email address and telephone number if you would rather discuss your enquiry on the phone, and a member of our team will get back to you. 

Step 3: Apply for finance

The next step is to apply for finance. You may need to provide proof of your address, identification such as a copy of your drivers license and details of your current employment and income. This information will be used to perform a credit check by our finance supplier. This process will determine if you are eligible for the vehicle you have enqiured about. 

Step 4: Vehicle delivery

Your brand new vehicle will be delivered to either your address or our dealership. 

Step 5: End of contract 

Once your contract comes to an end, you will hand the vehicle back over to us and onced processed you can search for a brand new car once again!
